Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. Both LeAnnekymes and Krauss were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American musician and singer. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the world of music winning local competitions as early as 10 years old and recording her debut album at 14 years. When she was 14, she debuted her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. The album was also a part of the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. Then, in 1989, her first solo album debuted in conjunction with the band.
