Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actor, musician and playback vocalist in Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian family background. Her parents were an Madras High Court attorney. Her younger sister is who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah hails born in Chennai. She attended National Public School, and then graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist, who was a huge geek. In her twenties, she became a part of a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the basis of her first singing and music composing career. The actress was also a stage student at her school and appeared in several productions staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was the president of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career in theatre with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. Her 2006 role in the brand new Leo Coffee advert was with Shiva. In 2006, she also appeared in a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. She has performed all over India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). When she sang a tune in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya he asked her to play in the role of a lead female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani the homemaker who's husband has an extramarital affair. Andrea was approached by Simran shobana and Tabu. The film was first released in 2010. In 2011 she agreed to perform a small supporting role in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which was released in August of 2011. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's love movie Annayum Rasoolum.
